New York Jazz Events is a consortium of jazz bands that are perfectly suited to corporate events, fundraisers, social events, and weddings. The bands range in size from three to five pieces and feature saxophone, guitar, piano, vibraphone, and either jazz or Brazilian vocalist as the lead instrument depending on your preference. Each band has a unique personnel, style and repertoire, and is comprised of great New York City jazz musicians who have been performing together for many years.
Our jazz bands have performed for such prestigious clients as Bank of America, General Electric, and Mercedes Benz, and at historic venues ranging from the Museum of Modern Art, the New York Botanical Gardens, the New York Public Library, and the New York Stock Exchange, to the Rainbow Room, the Ritz Carlton, and the Waldorf Astoria, not to mention top New York jazz clubs like the 55 Bar and Birdland.

In addition to being able to play any one of thousands of Great American Songbook standards, because we offer active New York City jazz bands, each of our groups has a unique repertoire of music that is custom-tailored to its particular instrumentation, style, and personnel. Our music can serve as background music extremely well, but it is the exact opposite of “elevator music”; it is real jazz that can “slow down a conversation and make a table listen,” as one reviewer put it.
